Despite the above, there are other tools that enrich anthropological work and that come from different disciplines. This is the case of oral history, a subdiscipline that arises from the recovery of oral materials collating with diverse sources that help to build a narrative corpus that helps to know and understand the past in voice of the people who have lived it.
