Vice President for more than a decade with Evo Morales, stands out as one of the most emblematic intellectuals of the country and Latin America. His political and intellectual trajectory runs through the Tupac Katari Guerrilla Army, the Commune Group and teaching, to be able to occupy one of the highest positions in the Bolivian state. However, it is possible to observe changes in his thinking and political action in relation to the state apparatus. If before there was a tendency to see it as an instrument of political domination, it would now appear as the only means of consolidating hegemony achieved by its party, MAS, avoiding the return of the old ruling classes, even if under penalty of remoteness from the social movements of dynamics of government. We intend to address such contradictions, understanding that these changes reflect politically in contemporary Bolivia. ER -
