The study aimed to analyze the challenges and realities faced by indigenous communities within the framework of the Covid-19 Educational Plan, focusing on the case of Tzalarón. The implemented methodology was qualitative in approach, supported by the bibliographic analysis of official MINEDUC documents related to education during the pandemic. It also relies on data gathered from semi-structured interviews to investigate the Plan’s viability in vulnerable contexts. The findings reveal that the impact expectations of the educational policies in the Plan did not reconcile theory with contextual realities, particularly in areas with limited access to the internet and digital tools. Among the most relevant conclusions, radio-education emerges as a viable option to address the problems of access to online education during the crisis. However, the need to design new proposals and public educational policies that coherently adapt to the reality of vulnerable sectors is emphasized. ER -
