There is an interest in it from people of art who wanted to remember the dance in all genres and types of artistic creation. Turning to this less well-known side of the research, we have to say, that the ballet topic in art is sometimes affected by theater researchers, illustrating their story with works of art and placing them in publications along with photographs. Engravings, paintings and sculptures are one of the truly invaluable sources for studying the history of ballet for them. Nevertheless, it is not by chance that most of these works are kept in the collections of the country’s historical and theatrical museums. Ballet iconography is one of the most important branches of theater science, the science dealing with graphic material that reflects certain aspects of dance performance. ER -
