Laser de alta potência versus laser de baixa potência na aceleração da movimentação dentária ortodôntica. Revisão da literatura
Resumo
Diversos métodos têm sido avaliados durante o tratamento ortodôntico para acelerar a movimentação dentária, invasivos ou cirúrgicos e não invasivos, com a inclusão de vários protocolos, tais como: medicação, estimulação elétrica externa, microvibração, laser de baixa potência (LBP), corticotomias, etc., porém, não se pode afirmar que algum deles seja altamente eficiente e irrefutável. O objetivo foi analisar a literatura correspondente sobre a capacidade do uso de lasers de alta e baixa potência na aceleração da movimentação dentária ortodôntica. A escolha da revisão foi feita por meio de uma pesquisa em diferentes bases de dados, tais como: Pubmed, Lilacs, Scopus, Ovid, Proquest, Pesquisa, Epistemonikos, Web of Science, entre outras. A exploração foi restrita a artigos em inglês, espanhol e português publicados de agosto de 2017 a agosto de 2023. Imediatamente após a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão, um total de 38 artigos foi adquirido e revisado. Foi realizada a revisão da literatura sobre laser de alta potência versus laser de baixa potência na aceleração da movimentação dentária ortodôntica. Revisão da literatura. Assim, a literatura disponível revelou que o uso do laser LLLT de baixa potência proporciona uma aceleração eficaz para a movimentação dentária, em comparação com a alta potência.
