Aims & Scope

RELIGACIÓN. Revista de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades (ISSN 2477-9083), is an electronic scientific journal edited by the Centro de Investigaciones en Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades desde América Latina CICSHAL-RELIGACION, (a center associated to the Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales CLACSO), which seeks theoretical-practical contributions regarding the Social and Human Sciences, based on epistemologies of the South, with interdisciplinary and intersectional approach as keys to analyze and expose the Latin American reality and the different realities in the Global South.

Religación is aimed at professionals, researchers, professors, and students of the various branches of the Social Sciences and Humanities. It seeks to disseminate academic works produced by national and international external researchers, under a double-blind review system.

Religación, based in Quito, Ecuador, has 4 sections: Dossier, General, South-South, and Book Reviews. It publishes 4 regular issues per year (Jan/Mar, Apr/Jun, Jul/Sep, Oct/Dec) under the continuous publication system, as well as special issues.

Religación publishes in open access under Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. Each article is identified with a DOI (Digital Object Identifier System) number. The journal adheres to open access policies, so all published articles can be viewed and downloaded free of charge.
