Revista RELIGACIÓN  (ISSN 2477-9083), is an electronic scientific journal edited by the Centro CICSHAL-RELIGACION, (a center associated to the Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales CLACSO), which seeks to disseminate scientific research, mainly focused on the Global South.

Religación is oriented to professionals, researchers, professors and students of the various branches of knowledge. Until July 2023, the journal focused on the social sciences and humanities. However, and with the sole purpose of disseminating the scientific production of more researchers and other fields of knowledge, Religación Journal from August 2023 and with the ISSN update, becomes a MULTIDISCIPLINARY journal and begins to receive articles from all fields of knowledge.

Religación, based in Quito, Ecuador, and has the following sections: Dossier, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Engineering, Sciences, Administration among others.. It publishes 4 regular issues per year (Jan/Mar, Apr/Jun, Jul/Sep, Oct/Dec) under the continuous publication system, as well as special issues.

Religación publishes in open access under Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. Each article is identified with a DOI (Digital Object Identifier System) number. The journal adheres to open access policies, so all published articles can be viewed and downloaded free of charge.
