Fatores associados à prevenção da doença de Alzheimer em adultos da cidade de Morona
Resumo
Esta pesquisa se concentra nos fatores associados à prevenção da doença de Alzheimer em adultos no cantão de Morona, província de Morona Santiago, Equador. Essa doença neurodegenerativa tem uma taxa de 60% a 70% dos diagnósticos de demência em todo o mundo, o que sugere a necessidade de reconhecer os elementos relacionados à sua prevenção. O objetivo é mostrar como fatores como genética, saúde cardiovascular, hábitos nutricionais, atividade física, estresse crônico, estimulação cognitiva, saúde mental e a presença de redes de apoio social têm influência positiva na contribuição para a prevenção da doença de Alzheimer. A pesquisa é não-experimental, aplicando modelos de correlação e regressão linear múltipla. As informações foram coletadas por meio de análise documental e pesquisas com uma amostra de 221 adultos. Os dados foram analisados usando a correlação de Sperman e a análise de regressão linear múltipla. Resultados como o valor de R2 de 0,830 indicam que o modelo tem uma alta probabilidade de descrever o fenômeno, enquanto o coeficiente de Spearman de 0,826 demonstra uma correlação entre os fatores associados e a doença de Alzheimer, concluindo que os fatores associados têm um impacto direto na prevenção da doença de Alzheimer.
