A eficácia da resposta física total no aprendizado de vocabulário para alunos A1: uma revisão da literatura

Resumo

Esta revisão da literatura investiga o impacto da abordagem de aprendizagem baseada em comandos chamada TPR na aquisição de vocabulário entre alunos do nível A1. Ela usou o método qualitativo para examinar vinte estudos científicos para demonstrar o impacto do método na motivação do aluno e na retenção de vocabulário. Essa síntese inclui estudos publicados em revistas acadêmicas nos últimos cinco anos, usando uma metodologia de revisão qualitativa. As informações extraídas foram reunidas em temas sobre retenção, motivação, benefícios cognitivos e psicológicos, limitações da abordagem e etapas para uma boa implementação. A seção de discussão apresenta alguns resultados importantes, tais como: A TPR facilita a ativação da memória de longo prazo devido à sua metodologia interativa, fazendo com que os alunos se lembrem facilmente do vocabulário. Além disso, o método TPR aumenta a motivação quando os professores usam atividades físicas divertidas, ajudando a reduzir o estresse de aprender um segundo idioma. Além disso, ele ajuda a aprimorar os processos cognitivos do lado direito do cérebro devido ao ambiente de aprendizado confortável. Por outro lado, esse método não funciona bem para o ensino de vocabulário complexo.

Holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Also, he holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering. He currently works as an English teacher at Unidad Educativa Comunitaria Intercultural Bilingüe Antonio Millingalli Ayala. His academic and professional interests center on English language teaching.

Martha Magdalena Guamán Luna, Catholic University of Cuenca | Cuenca | Ecuador

Mgs, is an English teacher and Administrative coordinator at Catholic University of Cuenca. She has a master´s degree in pedagogy for teaching English as a foreign language, which has helped her to improve her expertise in language education and instructional methodologies. Additionally, she has a magister degree in Educational management and leadership which reflects her interest in organizational development and leadership in educational institutions. Furthermore, she has a diploma in innovative pedagogies. With an undergraduate level, she has a licenciatura in Education Sciences with a specialization in English language education. She is a professor and researcher at Master`s in Teaching English as a Foreign Language program since 2022. Her multifaceted expertise related to teaching, pedagogy, leadership, and methodology has inspired her to contribute with researching and publishing of articles.
