A Diplomacia corporativa do Fórum Econômico Mundial: marcos e estratégias de sua aliança com as Nações Unidas
Resumo
O artigo analisa marcos fundamentais e mecanismos estratégicos por meio dos quais o Fórum Econômico Mundial (FEM) construiu sua aliança com a Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU). Identifica três momentos de inflexão: o Pacto Global dos anos noventa, que consolidou o paradigma da responsabilidade social e ambiental corporativa; a Iniciativa de Redesenho Global, que incentivou um modelo de governança global de múltiplas partes interessadas (2010-2015); e o Memorando de 2019, que formalizou a relação em nível executivo. Com base em um desenho metodológico qualitativo que articula a análise histórico-processual com a análise crítica do discurso, foram analisados documentos programáticos do FEM, documentos oficiais da ONU, bibliografia especializada e relatórios de instituições internacionais críticas. Conclui-se que o repertório estratégico do Fórum concentra-se em: alinhamento discursivo em torno da globalização inclusiva, erosão de fronteiras institucionais, naturalização de sua presença em espaços da ONU, governança multidimensional, provisão de marcos cognitivos e simulação de processos deliberativos.
