Resumo
Rotinas escolares, tais como filas segregadas, linguagem, uso do uniforme e banheiros binários, configuram-se como práticas cotidianas que organizam a vida escolar. No entanto, a naturalização dessas práticas, raramente problematizada, reproduz interpretações binárias de gênero que incidem sobre as experiências e as formas de reconhecimento dos estudantes com identidades de gênero diversas – fenômeno pouco estudado no contexto educacional. Com base nessa situação, o objetivo deste artigo é analisar como tais práticas incidem sobre a construção das interpretações e posturas da comunidade educativa em relação às identidades de gênero diversas, a partir da apresentação dos principais achados da pesquisa de doutorado da qual se origina. A pesquisa adotou uma abordagem qualitativa com delineamento de estudo de caso do tipo instrumental, envolvendo 112 participantes. Os achados demonstram que algumas rotinas escolares naturalizadas, como a organização de filas a partir de categorias homem-mulher, o uso de uniformes e a disposição de banheiros segregados, constituem práticas de poder justificadas pela gestão organizativa. No entanto, estas produzem efeitos diferenciados sobre os estudantes e condicionam as interpretações, posturas e formas de relacionamento da comunidade educativa.
