Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation between multiple intelligences and cooperative learning in physical education to determine whether the integration of these methodologies improves physical performance and socio-emotional improvement of students. The study implemented a quantitative, cross-sectional and non-experimental research design. Likewise, the sample consisted of 25 students, who completed a questionnaire created to evaluate various dimensions of multiple intelligences and cooperative learning. Data collection was carried out systematically and analysis was performed using SPSS software, obtaining descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients and a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.934, indicating high reliability of the instrument. A positive and significant correlation (r = 0.816, p < 0.001) was found between the improvement of multiple intelligences and the effectiveness of cooperative learning. These findings suggest that students who show improvement in areas such as kinesthetic, interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence tend to participate more actively and collaboratively in physical education activities. Finally, it is advisable to implement pedagogical strategies that integrate both dimensions, promoting an inclusive and motivating environment that enhances both the physical performance and the socio-emotional growth of students.
