Abstract

This research evaluated the impact of Augmented Reality (AR) as a teaching strategy in the teaching of Cultural and Artistic Education (CEE) to tenth-grade students at the University College. Using a quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental design, a demonstration class was conducted with 60 students divided into a control group and an experimental group. The experimental group used AR via QR codes with three-dimensional models, while the control group received a traditional lesson. Likert-type surveys, observation rubrics, and knowledge tests were used, and the data were processed using descriptive statistics and Student's t-tests. The results showed that AR significantly increased motivation, participation, and comprehension of artistic content. Teachers expressed a willingness to integrate this technology into their teaching practices. The study concludes that AR is an innovative and effective pedagogical tool that enhances creativity and meaningful learning in contemporary art education.
