Abstract
This article presents a complementary plan for the comprehensive regularization of the habitat in the human settlement of Siguitag Pungoloma, Ambato, Ecuador, with the objective of creating an instrument that facilitates regularization through a technical, normative, and participatory process that articulates local territorial planning systems. The methodology combines qualitative and quantitative analysis with community participation, grounded in principles of interculturality and autonomy, thereby promoting sustainability in indigenous rural territories. Cadastral, environmental, legal, and socio-organizational information was integrated to address issues such as vulnerability to natural risks, lack of basic services, and population decline. The results include proposals for zoning, risk mitigation, and georeferenced technical products, aligned with the Territorial Development and Planning Plan (PDOT) and the Land Use and Management Plan (PUGS) of Ambato.
