Bibliometric and contextual analysis of the scientific production of sensory marketing
Abstract
The research reflects the bibliometric analysis of the scientific production of sensory marketing, which arises from the need to understand how new techniques of this type of marketing have been developed over time and know-how companies have been adapting these commercial methods in order to attract a greater number of consumers towards their brand or product. The objective is to carry out a bibliometric and contextual analysis of the scientific production of sensory marketing, which will serve as a basis for future academic or business work. The methodology used was retrospective-descriptive and the information obtained was in the Scopus database, which included parameters for analysis in which 41 articles were obtained as a result, questions were raised to visualize the respective trends through a systematic review of the literature. The graphs presented were made in the ScienceScape and Excel computational tools. To conclude, it was verified the importance of this type of research and the main inclination of the researchers, product of that the number of publications that have been developed until nowadays and the main needs that the companies have to identify the preferences, behavior, reaction, and desire of the consumer that influences in the purchase decision.
